1920s Artifacts Added to State Exhibit

The 125th Anniversary exhibit at the Wyoming State museum is getting closer and closer to completion.

This week artifacts from the prosperous 1920s are added to the exhibit and as the State Museum takes a look at the dramatic changes that happened in the country during the decade.

The highlight of this week is a trade card from the Wyoming Hereford Ranch. Founded in 1883, The Wyoming Hereford Ranch, near Cheyenne is the oldest continuously operated registered livestock operation in the country. The ranch used to be a part of the Swan Land and Cattle Company and was originally 65,000 acres.

The Wyoming State Museum is located at 2301 Central Avenue in Cheyenne. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Admission is free.
