The Fridays in the Asher series kickoff features the Westword-acclaimed indie rockers Kissing Party and Bleak Plaza from Denver, two of the Mile High City’s favorite bands.
$5 at the door, doors open at 7:00 p.m. All ages admitted. Beer and wine spirits will be available for those 21+ with ID.
Veterans of the Denver music scene, Kissing Party has released six full-length albums, with 2014′s “Looking Back It Was Romantic But At The Time I Was Suffocating” marking their most recent full length release. They are repeat nominees of Westword Magazine’s “Best Indie Band” in Denver category, and their music has received acclaim in the Denver Post and other regional publications.
Founded in 2013, Bleak Plaza refers to itself as “Denver Nice-Guy Punk.”
