Join us for our annual Art for Art event, where you can bid on artwork, sip a beverage, shop our crowd-favorite “Mystery Art” collection, and be immersed in a combination of music and arts experiences through the evening! Proceeds benefit Arts Cheyenne–and the artists!

Art for Art is a live and silent auction event where artists provide original works for participants to bid on. Proceeds are split between the artist and Arts Cheyenne, with the Artist choosing the percentage they’d like to donate.

The evening will feature a silent auction of original works of art, with proceeds of sales shared between each artist and Arts Cheyenne.

Artists are invited to contribute 1-2 pieces of their original art to the silent auction. Artists will set the minimum starting bid for their work, and will also select what percentage of the proceeds to be shared with Arts Cheyenne. Artists are also welcome to submit works of art for the favorite ‘Mystery Art’ sale, where works are wrapped in brown paper and labeled with song titles for the ultimate guessing game.

A handful of submitted works will be selected to be featured in our ‘art immersion experience’ live auction, where we pair the art with a musical selection and presentation on the stage. This is a top-secret process–not even the artists (or Arts Cheyenne staff) knows who has been selected, in order to keep the experience fun and exciting. (Please note – the selected pieces are typically of substantial size to be seen from the audience.)

Participating artists will be given a free General Admission ticket to the event.  

Registration to join the event is open through September 30, 2026. Once registration closes, event organizers will reach out with details for drop off, event tickets and more by October 5th.

Please list the title and set the minimum bid for each artwork. We ask that the minimum bid not be over $400. In our experience, items with a lower starting bid tend to go for a higher price and are more likely to sell. Please also list the value of each work. The value is the actual value of the work vs. the minimum bid, which is the amount you’re willing to accept for the work.
Will you be contributing smaller works for the "Mystery Art"?
These are pieces that we wrap and label with song titles to encourage people to buy them for $25-50, with all proceeds going to Arts Cheyenne. These may be prints as well. (This is always the most fun part of the event!)
