Watercolor Mono Prints

Cheyenne Creativity Center 1620 Thomes Ave, Cheyenne, WY

Join the staff at the new Cheyenne Creativity Center for our first workshop: Watercolor Monoprinting!

Our Emerging Artist Coordinator (and local artist) Tati Thompson, will be guiding us through the monoprinting process using yupo, a waterproof paper. This watercolor yupo technique creates a looser look at print making, resulting in a one of a kind print! This will be a beginner level class and we will provide all the materials you will need. This is a great opportunity to try watercolor in a new light! Please bring a reference photo or have an idea in mind to give you as much time as possible to make your print!

LCCC Artist Showcase

Cheyenne Creativity Center 1620 Thomes Ave, Cheyenne, WY

This show features artists studying at Laramie County Community College, who are finding their way into the art environment in Cheyenne. Many of these artists have exhibited a few times, or not at all, and are in the novice stages of forming their craft. They are no less exceptional, and we are honored to showcase their work.

This show includes work from LCCC students in sculpture, 3-D, and Ceramic classes. These students focused on ideas relating but not limited to: mold-making, casting with homemade paper and plaster, reductive carving, linear materials in sculpture, and pinch pot building in ceramics.
