Flower Power Palette Knife Painting

Cheyenne Creativity Center 1620 Thomes Ave, Cheyenne, WY, United States

Join local artist, Tati Thompson for a fun alternative painting session! This workshop is inspired by the essence and liveliness of seasonal flowers. Now what is palette knife painting you might ask? It is a mixture of heavy body acrylic paints being smoothed and sculpted across a canvas. Using a palette knife instead of a brush to apply paint to the canvas introduces you to texture and thickness of paint and puts you out of your paint squeezing comfort zone. This technique will allow your florals to pop off the canvas! This workshop is geared towards anyone who has a general understanding of painting, but beginners are welcome to join!
