Coming back in 2026: the Artist Demonstration area! Here you can watch artists live-create in their preferred medium, answering questions and talking through their process. We’ll also have kid’s activities and an adult making hour! Take a peek at the schedule below!

A Little History
The Cheyenne Arts Celebration started in 2012 as the 17th Street Arts Festival and was held downtown on 17th St. and the Dinneen parking area. The event took place over 3 days and included a full weekend of programmed music, performance, and art events.
In 2015, the event moved over to the Asher building and was rebranded to ‘Cheyenne Arts Festival, keeping the same format as before. With a few changes occurring at the Asher building, It moved again to the Depot Plaza for 2017 and 2018. In this location, the event was less successful both in financially and in attendance, and went on a hiatus for 2019. The Covid Pandemic in 2020 continued the hiatus for one more year.
The event was brought back in 2021 as a single-day event, where it was renamed to the current ‘Cheyenne Arts Celebration’ and is the most successful iteration of the event.
