Artwalk Venues
Art @ The Hynds
Housed in the Historic Hynds Building, Art@the Hynds is an artist collaborative where the works of Donna DuPont Schultz, Morgan Martin, and Denise Patton can be seen. Emma’s Old Time Photos is also located in the space. Please feel free to stop in to see the work and talk with the artists anytime you see an artist working in their studio.
Blue Raven Brewery
Blue Raven Brewery is a welcoming, family-friendly spot where kids and pets are invited to join the fun. With a mix of flagship and rotating beers, there’s always something fresh to try. Sports fans can enjoy games indoors or outdoors, and live music regularly fills the space, showcasing local talent.
Chronicles Distilling
Chronicles Distilling is a Veteran Owned Family Distillery, run by two Marine Corps Infantry Veterans and Brothers, named Aaron and Chase Lesher.

Cheyenne Civic Center
Since 1981, the Civic Center has hosted some of the most legendary artists in music history, the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, the best in Broadway, legendary comedians, and the most beloved ballets worldwide. If you’re looking for a night out with big city vibes in a small town, or you have a profound love for music and the performing arts like we do, this is your place.
Clay Paper Scissors Gallery
Clay Paper Scissors Gallery & Studio was founded in 2009. The gallery shows a wide variety of contemporary artwork, primarily but not exclusively by Wyoming artists.
Deselm’s Fine Art
Deselms Fine Art has occupied this historic Cheyenne since July of 2001. Besides fine custom framing, Deselms features original artwork by local and regional artists.
The Paramount Cafe
The Paramount Cafe is a specialty coffee shop and artist space in the heart of downtown Cheyenne, serving the best drink and eats around. The Paramount Ballroom is Cheyenne’s handcrafted cocktail lounge serving specialty cocktails, sharable bites and good vibes.
Opendoor studio
Featuring textiles, jewelry, photography and more, Open Door Studio & Gallery is a space for artists to connect with the community.
Wagonhound Wine Co. – Featured Venue
Wagonhound Wine Co. is all about taking a laid back approach to great wine, offering a relaxed yet refined wine bar with a curated selection of local and global wines and charcuterie.

FOR VENUES:
Cheyenne Artwalk happens on the Second Friday of every month, year-round, from 5-8pm. Venues are added following the completion of an application and discussion with Arts Cheyenne staff.
New venues seeking to join the Artwalk should attend the event 1-2 times before applying. It’s nice to see what others are doing, what works are showing, and to meet the other venues. This also helps with ideas for how to show works in your own space.
Venues are selected through an application process, which is reviewed by Arts Cheyenne Staff. Here’s some of the things we look at:
- How will the new venue feature and support local artists?
- What will the new venue offer each month?
- How will the new venue invest in our local arts and culture environment, and not simply try to drive traffic to their business? (The goal of Artwalk is to create a vibrant arts environment that’s engaging and fun for all to attend and supports the growth of our arts community. If your goal is to just get people in your door, this is not the event for you).
- What is the new venue’s capacity for proper display and rotation of artworks? (Arts Cheyenne staff can help advise in this area if needed)
Venue Requirements for joining Artwalk:
- All venues are expected to participate each month with a new artist, a fun feature, or something to engage the community. Each month, we have a ‘Featured Venue’ where the venues have chosen amongst themselves who will act as ‘feature’ for that month.
- This means that music, food, sometimes beverages, and other special things are happening at that specific location
- Venues must make sure their staff is aware of the monthly Artwalk event so they can answer any questions from the community
- From May-October, the Cheyenne ArtHaus is partnered with the featured venue for that night’s Artwalk (weather and parking/street area permitted)
- All venues pay an annual $250 which covers the cost of marketing materials and other needs. This fee is due annually in May/June, or at the time of acceptance, pro-rated to the next dues period.
- Each venue receives Artwalk brochures and an Artwalk Flag to place out front to support the event and let the community know they are a part of the event

About Artwalk
Cheyenne Second Friday Artwalk is the community’s monthly celebration of artists and their work. During Artwalk, Cheyenne galleries, businesses, restaurants and other places showcase a local or regional visual artist or musician, accompanied by light food and beverages. Artwalk patrons visit the venues on an unstructured schedule, walking, driving, or biking.
Cheyenne Second Friday Artwalk takes place the 2nd Friday of each month from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
