Emma’s Old Time Photos is also located in the space. Please feel free to stop in to see the work and talk with the artists anytime you see an artist is working in their studio.

Blue Door Arts

Connie Norman and Do Palma are accomplished artists who have been at their practice for many years. Do’s work primarily centers on social justice issues with topics ranging from migration, women’s rights and gun violence. Connie’s work takes a lighter but still thought provoking with bright colors and patterns overlaid with text. Connie and Do will both be present at the artwalk to talk with tour goers about what they do and why.
Noam’s Table will be providing authentic Mediterranean cuisine in front of Blue Door. Come hungry and enjoy hummus, falafel, gyro and more!  Head to Noam’s website to see a full menu and pricing.

Blue Door Arts

Blue Door Arts is the studio and gallery of Georgia and Dave Rowswell. The gallery features Georgia’s unique artwork created with discarded clothing and household textiles and Dave’s unique jewelry creations. The Rowswells also show the work of local and regional artists in the Guest Artist Gallery.

Blue Raven Brewery

Devon Tree Lindsay is a LIVE performance, speed artist.  He creates a start to finish painting at events within one hour during a Band and DJ performance. His style ranges from Mountain landscapes to abstract surrealism.
He’s also a multi-instrumentalist and a producer. His musical project Rooted Loops, he creates music while painting at the same time, creating a painting from scratch.

Chronicles Distilling

Chronicles Distilling is a Veteran Owned Family Distillery, run by two Marine Corps Infantry Veterans and Brothers, named Aaron and Chase Lesher. Chronicles Distilling produces corn based spirits, distilled in-house, that are bottled and sold for sale to go, as well as used to make cocktails for sale in their bar on the main level.

As winter gradually loosens its grip, signs of spring emerge subtly yet unmistakably. Spring is on the horizon, promising a fresh start and the vibrant renewal of life.

Delve into the world of bugs and flora, where every petal and wing tells a unique story. Our upcoming gallery show, “Bugs & Blossoms,” invites artists to unveil the mysteries of these essential elements of our ecosystem through their creative expression, aiming to celebrate the symbiotic relationship between bugs and flora and to highlight the critical roles they play on our planet and our relationship with them. 

Clay Paper Scissors Gallery

Looking for some color? Come see our beloved western landscapes in vibrant color with James Overstreet’s new work in Colorful West. Opening April 25, 2024 with a reception May 3 from 5-8 PM and a closing reception June 3, also from 5-8 PM.

These paintings showcase our beloved landscape through the lens of color…the way it would be if it could!

Deselms Fine Art

Deselms Fine Art has occupied this historic Cheyenne since July of 2001. Besides fine custom framing, Deselms features original artwork by local and regional artists.

Freedom's Edge Brewing

Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company has been brewing up tasty craft beer in the heart of downtown Cheyenne since 2012 making us the oldest operating brewery in the Capital City. Freedom’s Edge also supports local artists and showcases their creativity in the business.

The Hawthorn Tree

May’s artist is Sabrina Culp.  Sabrina is currently a private nanny and former elementary teacher of LCSD#1. She has been doing art most of her life, but is just now reaching out to the community to show her art. She has worked in a plethora of mediums including sculpture, clothing design, knitting, wood burning, stained glass, acrylic painting, markers, graphite, and is currently honing her artistic skills as a watercolorist. Outside of art, she loves foraging, hiking, fishing, hunting, bush crafting, gardening, mycology and herbology, and learning new skills such as food preservation, sourdough making, paper making, and pine needle weaving.

In the future Sabrina hopes to become a known artist within the Cheyenne community and help with fundraisers and other events.

Outcast Vintage

Outcast Vintage specializes in curated vintage clothing and accessories. They also offer event space and host community events. From streetwear to formalwear, the perfect hand-picked style is waiting for you.

Paramount Cafe

The Paramount Cafe is a specialty coffee shop and artist space in the heart of downtown Cheyenne, serving the best drink and eats around. The Paramount Ballroom is Cheyenne’s handcrafted cocktail lounge serving specialty cocktails, sharable bites and good vibes.


Westward is a contemporary western art gallery, locally-crafted goodies boutique + artist studio. Take a seat and soak up the art, grab some gifts or watch local painter, Bria Hammock, at work in her open studio.

About the Cheyenne First Friday Artwalk

Cheyenne First Friday Artwalk is the community’s monthly celebration of artists and their work. During Artwalk, Cheyenne galleries, businesses, restaurants and other places showcase a local or regional visual artist or musician, accompanied by light food and beverages. Artwalk patrons visit the venues on an unstructured schedule, walking, driving or biking.

Cheyenne First Friday Artwalk takes place the first Friday of each month from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.  2024 marks the 14th year for Cheyenne First Friday Artwalk.

During the 2024 First Friday Artwalk Season, we’ll be showcasing an Artwalk venue almost every month:

Cheyenne First Friday Artwalk addresses a specific Arts Cheyenne strategic and programming goal: to raise the profile of Cheyenne and regional creatives and provide opportunities to share their work, their processes and their passion with patrons.


Artwalk artists are some of Cheyenne and the region’s most creative individuals.  They’re always thrilled to show their unique interpretations.


Artwalk venues are businesses and organizations committed to vitality and creativity in Cheyenne.
