What types of work are accepted?
As indicated, all types of work in a variety of media are accepted. However, we suggest any artist wishing to sell reach out to us to see what we have capacity for, what sells well, and what we might reccomend.
How do I prepare my works for sale?
All 2-D works (painting, drawing, photography, etc.) must come ready to hang with a wire hanger. All 3-D works must be presentation-ready with any necessary stands, displays, etc. that the piece might require (please reach out with further questions).
All pieces must come labeled according to the artist’s code (see link below), priced and ready for sale.
What is the commission structure at the Creativity Center Gift Shop?
The Creativity Center offers a reasonable commission structure, where artists receive 70% of their sales and the Creativity Center retains 30%. The amount we retain goes back to facilitating our point-of-sales, marketing, staffing, and general operations of the Gift Shop.
How do I apply?
We’re so glad you asked! Please take a look at the buttons below to review our ‘Gift Shop Guidelines’ and to submit your application to join. This application tells us a little more about yourself, your work, and what you’d like to sell. Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and we reach out with further instructions at that time.
