The ArtHaus program ensures that artists and their talent are more visible and accessible to patrons. The ArtHaus has made appearances at music performances, community events, and parades, and Plein Air in the park, with an average of 3,000 annual visitors touring and participating in ArtHaus art shows and activities.

First Friday Artwalk

For more than a decade and for thousands of arts patrons, the First Friday Artwalk has provided a fun downtown cultural experience in some of Cheyenne’s most celebrated galleries, shops and breweries. Every first Friday of the month, a different Artwalk venue is showcased and new artists and their work are presented in all the venues, along with music and food trucks. Artwalk is Cheyenne’s premier monthly art event!

Cheyenne Creativity Center

The Cheyenne Creativity Center (CCC), located at 1620 Thomes Avenue, is Cheyenne and Laramie County’s newest space for visual and performing artists to gather, learn, and create in a collaborative environment. The Center hosts the Emerging Artists Program, designed to offer education, training, and real-world career development to students and new artists in the Cheyenne and Laramie County area. Along with the Emerging Artists Program, the CCC offers monthly gallery shows, weekly workshops, a gift shop and artist studio rentals in Wyoming, western Nebraska, and northern Colorado.

General Support

Arts Cheyenne provides a wealth of other services to the Cheyenne community, through management and maintenance of public art implementation and databases; facilitation of an annual scholarship; community arts partnerships with artists and partner entities; and management of all programs listed here. Often the most challenging area to derive support is for general operational support, and funds in this category go to support the systems and staff that the organization relies on to be so successful.
