Color Theory Class

A fundamental aspect of visual artwork, color can influence how we feel, what we see, and even how we act.  Without noticing it, we use color theory every day when putting together an outfit, driving a car, or admiring a beautiful sunset.  Understanding how to see, create, and use colors can transform our work as artists.  We will become familiar with the colors we love, and learn to incorporate them with purpose.  This class will focus on the day-to-day uses of color theory, identifying color, and how to create colors from scratch using acrylic paint.

Date/Time: Tuesday, August 20th and Tuesday, August 27th 5:30-7:30 pm

Note: this course is a two-part series where we will use 2 days to build up on what we learn.
