Join us for our annual holiday art show, where 10 artists are selected to have their works on display “vendor style.” Artists are encouraged to apply with items such as ornaments, jewelry, sculpture, paintings, prints, etc.-items that make great gifts for the holidays! Price points for this show should include items $200 and under.
The purpose of this show is to highlight our local artists and makers and their artwork. We hope to include items that are handmade for more elevated gifts, and this show is juried in order to ensure that we have the best selection possible for sales.
How it Works
Logistics & Set Up
Each accepted artist will have a section for their own display, where we will hang and show roughly 4-6 pieces of 2-D work at a size of 11″ x14″ or smaller, with shelving and/or podium space also available for wearables, prints, etc. For example, think of what you would bring to a vendor show, only on a smaller scale! Because we are in a smaller, more condensed space we are limited on display material and encourage artists to provide displays that best fit their personal works. If you would like to include specific display items for this event, please let us know in your application.
Once artists have been accepted, they will receive a contract and inventory sheet for sales for this show. Our commission structure is 70/30, where 70% of each sale goes to the artist, and Cheyenne Creativity Center retains 30%. Creativity Center staff will manage art work set up and tear down, so all the accepted artist needs to do is to drop off/pick up on time!
Special Events
This show is in partnership with the annual ‘Old West Holiday’ organized by Visit Cheyenne, where we act as a ‘Santa Stop’ for the event. The following are special events that will take place with the show:

Submission Timeline
- Call for artists open: August 12th
- Call closes: September 28th
- Review of applications: September 29th
- Notification of acceptance: September 30th
- Artwork drop off: October 24th-30th, 2026
- Show on display: Thur Nov. 5th – Wed Dec 23rd
- Note: The Center is closed for Winter Break between December 24th Through January 4th
- Artwork pick up: January 7th–16th
